This is a large open area owned by the DNR and requires a daily fee or State
Park sticker for admittance. It is on either side of Hwy 67 with the eastern side
being most popular. The eastern side is often reserved for private use on
weekends. These are usually hunt clubs that are training their pointers and
retrievers.
